Some of my interesting collection | I have been collecting for many years Started with lamps to now over 200 things .Autos tractors construction .I liked to collect things that had an interesting history or one of a kind .My 60 cat is the first one to come to northern Alberta .The 1955 Kenworth is the first one to work in the oil patch in the north .The RCAF Fordson N hauld fuel to the Halifaxes and Lancasters in the UK 1943. This tractor can go over 40 miles an hour .and is the only one left .My Diamond T Canadian Military wrecker is the only one with the five window cab left .I have a 1960 830 JD with all the factory options big rubber like new .My 9-18 Case is the oldest one in Alberta .A 40 Cockshutt grader, plow collection, There is many more things such as a printing a plate advertising the Waterloo boy tractor 7'x9' .This last while I have been collecting WW2 military machines .I told my wife that I won't buy another thing .Boy that's worst than quiting smoking .You spend most of your life gathering up these things and then you have to start getting rid of them .Museum verses auction sale and then a little for the kids .What a great time it's has been .The clubs that we started, and the many friends that I have met .Our one club plows 150 acres of sod with the old tractors, restored or just runners .30 to 50 tractors can do it in four hours .Collect what you like, and enjoy it .George George McKenzie, AB, entered 2010-10-08 My Email Address: Not Displayed |

Picking Corn - by Rick Nikolich. It was the day before Christmas shutdown at work and I asked our lead engineering expert Scott Andrzejewski what he was going to do over the holidays.
